What are the requirements for compressed air pressure and flow rate of the labeling machine
Release date:2024.11.21
The labeling machine has specific requirements for compressed air pressure and flow rate, which are crucial for the normal operation and labeling quality of the labeling machine.
1、Pressure requirements
Basic pressure range
Generally speaking, the compressed air pressure required for the normal operation of the labeling machine is between 0.4-0.6MPa.This pressure range can ensure the normal operation of various pneumatic components of the labeling machine, such as cylinders, air valves, etc. For example,in the downward pressure action of the sticker head, the cylinder needs sufficient pressure to push the sticker head accurately to attach the label to the product. If the pressure is too low,the sticker head may not be able to tightly adhere to the surface of the product, resulting in weak label adhesion; If the pressure is too high,it may cause damage to the product, especially for some products with soft texture or easily damaged surface.
Pressure stability
The stability of compressed air pressure is also very important. The labeling machine requires a pressure fluctuation range as small as possible during continuous operation.Ideally, pressure fluctuations should not exceed±0.05MPa.Because fluctuations in pressure can affect the accuracy of labeling. For example, during the high-speed labeling process, sudden changes in pressure may cause deviations in the adhesive position of the label,or wrinkles in the label during the adhesive process, affecting the appearance quality of the product.
2、Traffic requirements
Traffic size
The requirement for compressed air flow rate of the labeling machine is related to the labeling speed and the scale of the labeling machine. For small semi-automatic labeling machines,a compressed air flow rate of about 10-30L/min per minute is generally sufficient to meet the requirements. For large fully automatic high-speed labeling machines, the flow requirements will be higher, possibly reaching 50-100L/min or even more. This is because during high-speed labeling, multiple pneumatic components need to work simultaneously, such as label suction, conveying, and the action of the labeling head, all of which require sufficient compressed air to ensure their fast and accurate operation.
Flow uniformity
The uniformity of compressed air flow is equally crucial.Uneven flow may cause intermittent malfunctions of the labeling machine during operation. For example,if the label suction device cannot obtain a stable and uniform airflow,it may result in delayed or incomplete label suction, thereby affecting the efficiency and quality of the labeling machine.
In short, labeling machines have strict requirements for the pressure and flow rate of compressed air.In practical operation,it is necessary to configure and adjust the compressed air system reasonably according to the specific model and working speed of the labeling machine to ensure its stable operation.
